Seated in vajrasana on a lotus base with his right hand lowered in bhumisparshamudra while the left is resting on his lap supporting the alms bowl, wearing monastic garment, including an underskirt fastened around the waist with a belt, mantle covering his left shoulder, its border incised with scrolling tendrils, his face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows, raised urna at his forehead, smiling lips, elongated earlobes, blue coloured curled hairdo continuing into the ushnisha and topped with a lotus bud, resealed.
From an old southern German private collection, supplemented by inheritance in the 1950s and acquisitions in the 1960s to the 1980s - Minimal signs of age, in good condition
